We all talk a lot, but do we actually communicate? I hit this in several different walks of life not just on the railway. The commonest expression being “Oh I assumed you knew…” People can be so wrapped up in their own world that they don’t always see what’s going on outside.
The thing is, you cannot do it on the railway because a mistake here could result in a disaster rather than just an inconvenience. We at Lakewood are able to sit down with a client or sub-contractor seeking to tender for work on the rail and do our best to explain how the Network Rail Company Standards require interfaces with all parties before, during and after completion of a railway project.
There are hundreds, thousands of Standards and it’s not easy finding you way around them. As always, if you want to know more about our Railway interfacing, just give us a ring.
